Brian would have said, "Take it all, I'm not going to need it." And so we left it up to the surgical teams to evaluate and distribute accordingly. With the many miracles that occurred, Brian was able to contribute his liver, both kidneys, strong heart valves, pancreatic eyelet cells, both corneas and a beautiful body of life-changing skin, bone and tissue.

Brian's liver, according to the surgical team, was "gorgeous" and therefore able to be transplanted into a 55-year-old husband and father of three children. The recipient had been on the transplant list for an entire year when he received Brian's gift. The transplant was successful and he is currently doing well.
